Organizations live in a volatile environment and to survive they have to be able to adjust and change their organizational processes as needed, easily and fast. Information technology is considered to be the major single driving force and also the facilitator of change. Change is not an easy process and very often there are barriers to overcome. If barriers are not identified and addressed, they may hinder change or result in unplanned changes. We develop a framework called BIF (Barriers Identification Framework) for identifying and categorizing barriers to IS-related change.
